Hi Tab Church family and our ministry friends,

In light of the current global coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, we have been keeping up to date with the very latest advice from the World Health Organisation and the UK government.

As a leadership team, we have been meeting and regularly discussing the situation in order to review all of our efforts in relation to this crisis.

Our priority has been, and continues to be, the welfare of you our Tab church family, ministry friends and wider communities, especially trying to watch out for the most vulnerable amongst us.

We now want to update you on some further steps we believe we need to take, which include the following:

From this Sunday 22nd March 2020, we will be moving to online services for the foreseeable future and will not be gathering for services in the physical sense.

We’re working hard to deliver a great new online service, which will have a fresh homely feel, enabling you to join with us virtually via our social media platforms you worship from your own home. We are calling the new digital church experience ‘Tab@Home’. A link will be sent out so that you can click on to join in. We want all our Tab family to join with us this Sunday!

Following government advice, we have decided, with immediate effect, to suspend connect group, courses/classes and smaller service gatherings from physically meeting.

All of this makes it all the more important for us to find creative ways to stay connected as a faith community. Therefore, there are four key things to look out for each week, which will help us to stay connected and also help to build our spirituality and faith:

- Tab@Home Sunday online services at 10:30am

- Tuesday morning prayer call at 6:30am

- Wisdom Wednesday evening Facebook lives

- Thursday morning prayer call at 6:30am

Right now, we are working on even more to help us continue to grow our faith and keep us unified through the use of technology, so listen out for updates.

As we shared on last Wednesday's Facebook live, we need to live selflessly now more than ever before, watching out for others, especially for the elderly people in our families and communities.

One way that we can practically help those who are particularly vulnerable at this time, is by ensuring that we keep the stocks in our Tab Food Bank high. You can call/email the church offices to speak to someone to arrange a convenient time to drop off any listed items.

As this situation continues to unfold, let’s be praying for our communities and for our nation, the government and for our brave frontline healthcare workers. We have an amazing opportunity to reach out as the people of God to others who don’t know Christ as Saviour, by speaking peace and Faith over fear.

Please keep an eye out for essential updates here, on Instagram, Facebook, The Tab App and our Website.

With Love Grace and Peace,

Pastor Mike and Donna-Maria White
