Tab Teams

As a church family we passionately believe that we have all been ‘SHAPED’ by God for ministry, also known as service. This ‘service’ helps us to grow so that as we serve each other in the church and those in the wider community we will represent Christ, help to bless others and also personally grow ourselves to become the person God created us to be.

Serving others is a biblical teaching of Jesus Christ and the New Testament church; we can simply look at it as “people helping people”. If you are a member of The Tab we encourage you to practically help your church family and become part of something bigger by volunteering to get plugged into an area of ministry where you can use your ‘SHAPE’ to serve and be part of your “Church in action”!

The Tabernacle has a wide variety of ‘ministry teams’ which act as serving points through which you can become one of the passionate and dedicated people from our church who serve. Some ministries serve the church itself and others the wider community.

If you are a member and want to volunteer to join a team  and meet new people, then simply take a browse through the ‘Ministries Directory’ available at The Information Point, before or after any of the main services (or on request via email) and contact the relevant team leader.

“Your people shall be volunteers in the day of your power…”
